Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you interact with Harold, we collect:

• Your mobile phone number
• Your vehicle registration number
• Vehicle details from DVLA (make, model, year, fuel type, colour)
• The content of your SMS conversation with Harold
• MOT status and expiry date

Why we collect it

This data is used solely to provide garage booking and vehicle quoting services on behalf of the garage you contacted. We do not use your data for marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it beyond the garage you contacted.

How long we keep it

Your data is retained for up to 12 months after your job is completed, then automatically deleted. Incomplete or abandoned conversations are deleted after 90 days.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored securely in the European Union using Supabase (EU region). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To request deletion of your data:

• Text DELETE MY DATA to the Harold number you contacted
• Email privacy@getharold.co.uk

We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (providing the booking service you requested) and, where required, consent.
